Types and Type Holder

Interchangeable steel types from SOMAUT are the perfect answer to all part and component marking.

The marking on parts is homogeneous in depth, spacing, and alignment, and the speed at which types are put together makes them much more advantageous compared to single hammer punches.

Types can be purchased separately.

The block is rectangular so that it can be inserted in both manual and machine type holders.

Types are available in shockproof plastic cases containing 100 characters according to the specifications shown below, 20 spacers and 1 standard 1-line type holder and with a cavity suitable for the height of the selected character.
